| | | Information About Molluscum | | | | | | | Molluscum is a viral infection localized only in the skin; it is not systemic like other viruses such as herpes simplex.
According to the US National Library of Medicine, "Molluscum contagiosum is caused by a virus that is a member of the Poxvirus family. This virus is called Molluscipoxvirus Molluscum contagiosum."
This is a common infection in children. It is frequently seen on the face, neck, arm pit, arms, and hands but may occur anywhere on the body except the palms and soles. Occasionally, infection may occur on the genitals.
In adults, molluscum is generally seen on the genitals as a sexually-transmitted disease. Because molluscum produces no serious illness and is not of long-term public health significance, it has not been treated as other sexually-transmitted diseases. The importance is significant in the growing population of immunocompromised people with AIDS, who may develop a fulminating (rapidly worsening) case of molluscum contagiosum.
Typically, the lesion of molluscum begins as a small papule which may become raised up to a pearly, flesh-colored nodule. The papule often has a dimple in the center (umbilication). These papules may occur in lines, where the person has scratched. Scratching or other irritation causes the virus to spread in a line or in groups (crops).
Molluscum contagiosum is a chronic infection and lesions may persist from a few months to a few years. These lesions may ultimately disappear without scarring. Early lesions on the genitalia may be mistaken for herpes or warts but, unlike herpes, these lesions are painless.
The virus is contagious through direct contact, as seen in children, but may spread by sexual contact. It can spread on a person from lesions to adjacent normal skin areas. | | | | |

I have a 4 year old son and he has terrible molluscum on the entire right side of his stomach area and a couple on his arms and legs - the dermatologist said all they can do is burn or freeze them off and that it may take a while if it works at all, it is painful and leaves bad scars. Or we could wait a few years for them to go away. Well they kept spreading and I feared them going his face or basically all over his body! So i found this web site and I ordered molluscum no more and I didn't even use it according to directions which say to apply twice a day, I usually only put it on once a day, sometimes skipped days, and all of his "bumps" went away! It took a little longer than it was supposed to but I blame myself for that. But every single bump he has is gone and has been for two months now! To Whom it May Concern: When my daughter got a small weird rash on her bottom in June I didn't really think anything of it, but when it started to spread and wouldn't go away after three months I was desperate to try anything. Her Doctor didn't know what it was so she sent us to a dermatologist who told us it was Molluscum. I asked him if there was anything to do for it and he said cut them off which is painful and did not recommend that for my daughter since she is only a kid. He said "Let it run it's course." I asked about any natural at-home things we can do and he laughed and said "there are so many companies out there looking to make a buck-just let it run it's course." I couldn't live with that. I went on the internet and did a little research and found Forces of Nature and bought some Molluscum no more. I have been using it for a on my daughter's rash for 3 1/2 weeks and the rash is nothing more than a slight red spot on her bottom. Molluscum No More
My life changed drastically in July of 2005 when I was told I had contracted the STI Molluscum Contagiosum. I was devastated and unsure of what to do. I was given Aldara for treatment and I have been using this cream since July to cure the STI, to my disappointment though, it has not been working. It has caused scarring and it was doing little to stop the spread. Fed up I began researching alternative methods and came across Molluscum No More. Let me just say that this is an AMAZING PRODUCT!!! I have been using it for less than 48 hours and it has done more for my skin then Aldara has done in 5 months!!!! At a fraction of the cost as well. Molluscum No More
Nature givith Nature takith away. I was completely skeptical of this. I had my mollscum in my pubic region frozen off twice and it was painful and days later new sores would form. THIS STUFF WORKS. two - three times a day and it has not only not reoccured yet but the scarring from the freezing is diminishing rapidly, and the untreated molluscum has gone away. Since i have to live with this virus i plan on always keeping a supply of this stuff. The scent is strong but not a bad scent.

After going to the dermatologist and nothing helping my 7 year old sons molluscum, I started looking on line out of desperation and found the forces of nature web site. My son had them everywhere and about after a week of the using the molluscum no more all of his molluscum is clearing up. Molluscum No More
Our 2 1/2 year old daughter has been battling the skin disorder (Molluscum) for well over 6 months. After trips to the pediatrician and dermatologist and using the medicines prescribed only made it worse. It spread and was very red, looking as though it might scar. I just wanted to give customer feedback on your product Molloscum No More. My 2 1/2 yr. old daughter has been struggling with molluscum on her body and her face for over a year. My son had the disease prior to her, so I knew there was no treatment. His case lasted for over 2 years. My daughter's molluscum on her face was causing her problems.
